  1. Pretty. I want to be there, in that spot, with an easel & my brushes, and try & capture those colors and textures. Nice photo.

  2. Missy Hines says:

So pretty. I want to go there with a picnic basket and a blanket…

  3. A so agree about the beauty of this place. What really stands out for me, is how you captured the ruggedness of the area. I can feel the determination and work it would have taken to get to the final destination. Very inspiring I think.

    • You are so right, Keith. Joe and I marvel every time we approach the mountains from the eastern plains. We cannot image what the pioneers thought at their first sight of these imposing mountain ranges.

  4. mountains are so inpsiring and your photography is too.

  5. Thanks everyone . . . I am not sure how Crested Butte was incorporated into the URL link . . . this is actually Pikes Peak in The Front Range of the Rockies. This was definitely one of those “Stop the Car” moments, which my husband lovingly endures 🙂

I jumped over a guard rail to capture this beauty. I loved the variegated colors in the fall grasses, the freshly baled hay, the fence line and all the other lines that added interest to the image.
