Mixed Media Arrives at the Studio

Alcohol inksI’m so excited to share that the “studio” is diving into mixed media. (Of course, I still love teaching traditional mediums and our regular schedule of classes)

I’ve added new group times for classes and workshops in mixed media.

AND……I have some of the MOST POPULAR PRODUCTS now available for purchasing right in the studio.    These include Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, Dina Wakley Media, Dye Ink Pads, Dylusion Sprays, Mica Sprays and lots of support supplies.  Oh,  I’ve been collecting vintage ephemera for those who crave the authentic touch.

Art Events for Fund Raising

Being part of the community and personally giving to causes that touch my heart has always been very important to me.

Being in my own studio/gallery space has allowed me to be a part of fund raising by using art events to bring people together for the cause, create memories and share the proceeds.

I am proud to announce a new website that highlights the work I do with fundraising.

I’ll work with you!!!!

Join us! Studio Open House

I’m getting ready for the studio’s first open house.  The historical downtown’s streets fill with festive mood as thousands of people come into Tipp City.  Being two blocks south of Main Street is not a problem.  Public parking is on the street my studio lives.  And…I have wonderful artists and friends who participate by showing their artwork as we transform the class area into a wonderful gathering place.

Rusty Harden Art Studio

studiob7I am having so much fun and working so hard in the art studio.  The classes are going well.  I encourage my students to paint to their goals.  For some that is pure recreational and others to find an artist career.  I love watching and mentoring them all.

I’m busy with commission work and entering a few juried shows this fall.  Tomorrow’s post I will share the results of those shows and proudly share the awards some of my students have won as well.
